Our Alexandria, VA office is seeking a Digital Analyst who is proactive, passionate and highly driven. The ideal candidate will have proven success with their ability to analyze business data, is expected to work closely with clients on a day to day basis, and be able to skillfully present data and reports directly to clients.
How you’ll make an impact:
Work closely with client account teams to help build, monitor, and optimize paid and organic media campaigns
Assist in building campaign budgets and proposals
Execute digital ad campaign launches
Monitor ad campaign performance
Create comprehensive reports and make recommendations on ad optimizations
Generate visualizations and insights for use in client presentations
Responsible for pulling reports, analyzing metrics, evaluating campaign performance, and compiling information to make future recommendations on campaigns
Responsible for managing campaign spends on Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and other ad delivery platforms
All other responsibilities as assigned
Skills you’ll need to succeed:
Analytical Skills: We work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching. You will need to see through this data and analyze it to find conclusions.
Communication Skills: Campaign analysts are often called to present their findings or translate the numbers into an understandable document. You will need to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
Critical Thinking: Campaign analysts must look at the numbers and trends, to draw new conclusions based on the findings.
Attention to Detail: Data is precise. Campaign analysts have to make sure they are vigilant in their analyses to come to correct conclusions.
Math Skills: Campaign analysts need math skills to estimate numerical data.
Why we’ll love you:
Possess a BA/BS in either Marketing, Communications, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related discipline
2-4 years of experience in paid media/marketing analytics, statistics, and data analysis of direct response campaigns in either an agency or corporate setting
1+ year of experience with social media marketing and/or analytics
Understanding of digital/media/marketing data sources and metrics preferred: Digital (e.g. Web, Social, Display, Search etc.); Media (e.g. buying models, CPU, Impressions, GRP); and Measurement analytics
Demonstrated expertise with Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms
Enjoy problem-solving and demonstrate the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes
Have strong organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
