Alexis Darnell joined Go Big Media after completing her third election cycle as a Regional Political Director for the Republican National Committee. During her tenure with the RNC, Alexis oversaw political operations and field programs in twenty different states and supported over 65 targeted U.S. Senate, Congressional, and Gubernatorial campaigns. In the 2018 election cycle alone, she managed a budget over $15 million and a 120-person staff, exceeding voter contact goals and contributing to the largest voter contact operation in Republican Party history.
A native of Espanola, New Mexico and current resident of Albuquerque, Alexis has worked extensively with state parties and managed political campaigns at the local, state, and federal level. She continues to support our nation’s Republican candidates and state parties as the RNC’s Director of State Party And Campaign Training Resources.
Additionally, Alexis served as the Director of Operations for America’s first Hispanic female governor, Susana Martinez of New Mexico; and throughout her career in politics, she has played important roles in the sophisticated field operations that led to the election of President Donald Trump in 2016, the re- election of President George W. Bush in 2004, the Republican takeover of Congress in 2010, and the historic Republican takeover of the New Mexico State House of Representatives in 2014 after more than a half-century of Democratic control.
A graduate of the University of New Mexico, Alexis is married to Scott Darnell and together they have two young boys, Jude and Lucas.
