Phillip Stutts & Company Names Partner And Makes Two New Hires
Firm expands after successful 2014 campaign cycle
Washington, DC – Today, Phillip Stutts & Company, Inc. (PSCI), a D.C. based media and political advocacy firm, announced the addition of a partner and two new hires. The firm’s expansion comes on the heels of an election cycle where PSCI oversaw sixteen successful political and advocacy campaigns in races across the country.
The new team at PSCI will consist of the following:
Brian Jodice, named Partner and President of Media Strategies:
Prior to being named a partner, Brian Jodice served as Vice President of Media Strategies at PSCI. In 2014, Campaigns and Elections Magazine named him a “Rising Star” for his successful digital media work around the country. This past election cycle, Brian directed the digital media efforts which led to the re-election of House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and the election of Congressman Garret Graves. His client portfolio boasts Governor Bobby Jindal, Stand Up to Washington PAC, Concerned Veterans for America, National Review, American Federation for Children, and countless other political and non-profit causes.
Dean Petrone, hired as Vice President of Media and Political Strategies:
Dean Petrone brings years of campaign and Capitol Hill experience, arming PSCI clients with a wealth of knowledge attainable only on the frontlines of today’s political battlefield. Having managed federal races at the congressional level, and formerly serving as Congressman Randy Forbes’ communications director and chief spokesperson, Dean’s background includes media relations, communications, and voter contact strategies. He most recently served as chief communications strategist and spokesperson for Dr. Monica Wehby’s nationally targeted U.S. Senate bid in Oregon.
Graham Lawyer, hired as Director of Digital Media and Campaigns:
Graham Lawyer, before joining PSCI, served as a field director for the Republican National Committee’s Virginia operation, which aided the ground game for Ed Gillespie‘s astonishing U.S. Senate bid against incumbent Democrat Senator Mark Warner. Graham specializes in managing client campaigns that focus on traditional, social, and digital media.
PSCI’s Principal Partner, Phillip Stutts, released this statement on the new team:
“When I started Phillip Stutts & Company 10 years ago, I only envisioned running a political consultancy business. A decade later we are not just a media and consulting firm, but we have carved out a unique and winning niche in digital media. Brian, Dean, and Graham will help PSCI grow as a firm and fulfill our commitment to surrounding clients with the experience and knowhow necessary to win tough campaigns. These additions are just the first step of many PSCI is taking in the coming weeks to elevate ourselves into the upper echelon of media firms – stay tuned for more!”
